WHAT TYPE OF
OIL QUALIFIES?
The proposed program focuses on used cooking oils from commercial food preparation. Acceptance depends on oil quality, quantity, and collection arrangements.
Used fryer oil must remain separate from water, chemicals, petroleum products, and grease trap waste.
POTENTIAL ACCEPTED MATERIALS
- Used vegetable cooking oil
- Used soybean and canola oil
- Spent commercial fryer oil
- Other fryer oils, subject to review
Grease interceptor waste and petroleum-based waste oil are not accepted as part of this proposed UCO collection program. Final material acceptance is subject to buyer requirements.
