What is TerraCore Environmental?
TerraCore Environmental is a managed environmental-service company that coordinates commercial grease, recovery, wastewater and related services.
TerraCore serves as the customer's contracting and service-management contact and coordinates the appropriate service resources for the approved work.
Does TerraCore perform every field service itself?
Not necessarily. TerraCore may use qualified independent service providers for pumping, collection, transportation, cleaning, recycling, rendering, processing and other specialized field services.
TerraCore remains the customer-facing contracting and service-management contact for approved TerraCore work.
Do you serve single locations or only large accounts?
Both. TerraCore can review service for an individual commercial location as well as regional and multi-location programs.
What states does TerraCore serve?
TerraCore's current regional focus includes South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Availability depends on location, service type, scope and provider capacity, so coverage is confirmed when a service request is reviewed.
Traps & Interceptors
Commercial grease service can be scheduled as recurring maintenance or reviewed on an individual service basis.
What grease services does TerraCore coordinate?
Services may include grease trap pumping, grease interceptor pumping, removal of accumulated grease and solids, cleaning or washdown when included in the approved scope, transportation and service documentation.
How often should my grease trap or interceptor be serviced?
Service frequency depends on the equipment size, kitchen volume, accumulation rate, operating conditions and any applicable local requirements.
TerraCore can help establish a recurring schedule based on the individual location rather than using the same interval for every customer.
Does normal grease service include drain jetting or repairs?
Not automatically. Drain clearing, line jetting, repairs, excavation, emergency response and other corrective work require separate approval unless they are specifically included in the agreed scope.
Can I use TerraCore for grease service without an oil account?
Yes. Stand-alone commercial grease trap and interceptor service may be available even if the location does not participate in TerraCore's used-cooking-oil program.
Used Oil & Animal Fats
Recoverable cooking oils and approved animal fats need proper segregation, storage and downstream handling.
What used cooking oil can you collect?
TerraCore may coordinate collection of approved used cooking oils generated by food-service operations, subject to the requirements of the receiving facility and the customer's service program.
What animal fats can TerraCore recover?
Programs may include approved animal fats, tallow and qualifying inedible animal byproducts accepted by the designated renderer or processor.
Acceptance is confirmed before collection begins.
What should never be mixed with used cooking oil or animal fats?
Water, wastewater, cleaning chemicals, solvents, petroleum products, motor oil, trash, glass, metal, plastics and other unapproved contaminants should not be placed in recovery containers.
Does TerraCore provide collection containers?
Container arrangements depend on the individual service program. Container size, placement, ownership, maintenance and collection frequency are confirmed when the account is established.
Qualifying Accounts
Certain used-cooking-oil accounts may qualify for complimentary scheduled grease service, but eligibility is determined location by location.
Is grease trap service free for every oil customer?
No. Complimentary scheduled grease service is available only to qualifying accounts.
TerraCore reviews factors such as recoverable oil volume and quality, grease equipment, required service frequency, access, location and route compatibility.
What does the complimentary program include?
The exact included service is determined during the account review and confirmed in writing.
A qualifying program may include recurring used-oil collection and an agreed schedule of grease trap or interceptor service.
Are emergency calls and repairs included?
Not automatically. Emergency response, repairs, line jetting, damaged systems, difficult-access work and extraordinary cleanouts may require separate approval and pricing.
Can eligibility change later?
Yes. A program may be reviewed if oil volume, material quality, service requirements, access, route conditions or other account conditions materially change.
Lift & Pump Stations
TerraCore can coordinate routine and corrective service for private commercial and multifamily wastewater pumping systems.
What lift station services can TerraCore coordinate?
Services may include wet-well pumping and cleaning, solids and grease removal, preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, pump service, repair coordination and other approved station work.
Can TerraCore coordinate pump replacement or electrical work?
Yes, when appropriate for the project. Specialized mechanical or electrical work is coordinated with providers qualified for that specific work.
Do you offer preventive maintenance programs?
Yes. A recurring program can be structured around inspection, cleaning, equipment condition and the needs of the individual station.
What information helps when requesting pump-station service?
Helpful information includes the location, number of pumps, station type, approximate wet-well size, alarm condition, symptoms, equipment information and any recent service history you have available.
Multi-Location Accounts
TerraCore's managed model is especially useful for organizations trying to reduce the number of separate service relationships they manage.
Can TerraCore manage service across multiple states?
Yes, depending on service type and provider coverage. TerraCore can review locations across its regional service area and build a coordinated program where coverage is available.
Do I still have to manage each local service provider?
The purpose of the TerraCore model is to reduce that burden. TerraCore remains the primary commercial contact and manages the approved service relationship with assigned providers.
Will we receive service documentation?
TerraCore can provide customary service records, tickets, volume or weight information and receiving documentation when available or required for the agreed service.
How do we start a regional or multi-location program?
Send TerraCore the locations, services needed, existing equipment or container information and current service frequency where known.
We can then review the locations and determine the appropriate service structure and coverage.
